We’re thrilled to share a sneak-peak into the results of our recent survey conducted among young people in Poland, Cyprus, and Greece. The survey was conducted as activity A1.1 of CE in Action Project.
Awareness of Circular Economy:
Poland:
– Familiar: 45%
– Unfamiliar: 55%
Greece:
– Familiar: 73%
– Unfamiliar: 27%
Cyprus:
– Familiar: 65%
– Unfamiliar: 35%
We asked about all types of things related to CE and Zero Waste, and you answered! In summary, this section of the survey revealed that the most important reasons of Zero Waste and Circular Economy are:
– Saving resources is the top reason in Greece (27%) and Cyprus (18%), while limiting waste through reuse is the top reason in Poland (22%).
– All three countries prioritize reducing plastic production, reducing carbon footprint, and encouraging sustainable practices among big companies to varying degrees.
These findings highlight the diverse perspectives and priorities among young people in Poland, Cyprus, and Greece, and we will incorporate their needs into the next results. Thank you for participating and contributing to our understanding of these vital topics!
