About the Project

Our organization, as a research and educational institution specializing in adult education, faces significant challenges related to the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the learning process. The rapid digital transformation has reshaped education, making it essential for educators to upgrade their skills and adapt to new, technology-driven learning environments.

Key needs include training educators in digital tools and AI applications, developing competencies in AI-supported instructional design, and enhancing the digital skills of adult learners, many of whom face difficulties entering the labor market due to limited digital literacy.

At the same time, the fast pace of technological change requires continuous adaptation, while the organization currently lacks strong international networking in the field of adult education and emerging technologies. Participation in an Erasmus+ mobility project will address these needs by providing opportunities for professional development, exchange of best practices, and collaboration with organizations across Europe. Ultimately, the project will contribute to improving the quality and innovation of our educational services.

Project Goals

The main objective of the project is to train educators in Artificial Intelligence in order to enhance the effectiveness and quality of adult education.

More specifically, the project aims to:

• Equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in using AI tools in education
• Support the creation of modern, personalized, and effective learning environments
• Promote understanding of ethical considerations related to AI use
• Enable educators to critically evaluate and appropriately integrate AI into their teaching practices
• Introduce applications that automate processes such as assessment, feedback, and content adaptation
• Improve learner engagement and learning outcomes through innovative teaching methods

Additionally, the project seeks to establish a strong network of cooperation with educational institutions in Greece and across the EU, fostering the exchange of knowledge and the adoption of best practices in AI-supported adult education.
